Dressed Down Gift Guide

There are so, so many fabulous gift guides out there. Full of practical, purse-friendly positively beautiful things that would be a welcome addition under any tree. But what if you were super greedy (hello, it’s me you’re looking for) and could ask for what you REALLY wanted. Like something so self-indulgent you couldn’t possibly request it from another living soul. Well, here is a gift guide just for you. Where budgets (and international shipping) cease to exist, and you can spend the silly season actually being silly.

P.s. If you accidentally hit forward on this email, and well, maybe your finger just slipped to ‘cc: all family & friends’… then who am I to ruin your fun?

P.p.s This gift guide does not contain affiliate links and I will take no commissions (only glee) from your crazy spending ;)

Moschino Bakery Paper Bag, $535 (on sale)

Is this an actual paper bag? Yes, well 10% of it is. Is it over $500? What a shrewd eye you have. Could you get one for free on a trip to your local boulangerie? Yes, buttttt a quick google tells me a one way flight to Paris starts at $1200, so really this is a very sensible investment.

Jil Sander Cannolo Bag, $1,305 (on sale)

Equal foodie connotations, and while double the price it probably has more bang for its buck than the above being constructed from luxurious, delicious, possibly problematic calf leather.

Copito Totem Candles, approximately $376 AUD

Given their ephemeral nature, I’d say this price to product ratio is high enough to make it an extravagant purchase. They also make these really cute crayons ($170) that would make a bougie snack for Madame Rafi, who insists on eating all her art supplies.

Flamingo Estate Jasmine & Damask Rose Soap Brick, $96

Another fleeting beauty. Almost $100 for something that’ll literally end up down the drain but make me smell like an English rose garden in the process. Take my moneyyyyy.

The remainder of this post is for paid subscribers only because, quite frankly, it’s not for the faint hearted. But in the spirit of Christmas, I’ve decided to lower a Dressed Down subscription to just $5/month (which is the cheapest they’ll let you go), or $40 for an annual subscription (usually $80), which seems like a great thing to add to your wish list. Offer available now until 31 December.
